Sure, I was doing a lot of yoga, I was practicing meditation, and I was telling myself all reasons I should smile each day, but I would find myself right back where I started with no real sustainable behavior change. I was getting really frustrated.

Then while living alone in a tiny village in a country in Africa during a time I was healing through a seriously traumatic experience, the solution revealed itself when I couldn’t run from my pain anymore.

I felt like I could breathe for the first time in a decade, and since then I have pinpointed all the roots to my anxieties. I wake up thrilled to be alive, and I have gratitude and joy overflowing from my heart before my feet even hit the ground in the morning.
